Our name “Shelter” is directly linked to Psalm 91 of the Bible.
Our house is a house of prayer | Isaiah 56:7
La’bri farming is situated in Kroondal, Rustenburg. The farm was established in 2021 and covers an area of 4.3 hectares. La’bri Farming is a family-run business whose mission is to produce tomatoes, garlic and ginger, fresh herbs and diversified to provide rental accommodation close to the CBD.
The farm employs a core team of 7 people from the local community with a blend of contractors, expanding and contracting with demand, and is committed to sustainable practices.

Vision
We are created to bring glory to the LORD GOD, YHWH | Isaiah 43:1-13.
So, our farm exists to bring Glory and Honor to our LORD GOD first and foremost.
In HIS WILL, our vision is to become the pacesetter in farming for a sustainable future.
By utilizing the principles of the Agricultural Lifecycle, we believe our products, our rental property and land will provide for all our nutritional needs.
Our farm will be fully integrated, building and serving our family, our tenants, the community, and future generations.
Our legacy: For the next generation to fondly remember “the days on the farm” and pass on the invaluable knowledge and experience gained, thereby retaining the rich and diversified inheritance of the South African Farmer.
Mission
Mission 1 | Property
Our mission is to build on the existing accommodation to serve the growing demand for family accommodation. This diversification is to balance out the agricultural risk of “putting all our eggs into one basket”.
Mission 2 | Core agricultural products
Our mission is to harvest fresh tomatoes, garlic, and ginger. Additionally, we intend to produce fresh herbs for the local market.
Mission 3 | Long-term agricultural products
Here, we are waiting on the Holy Spirit to reveal the final, sustainable plan for our farm which may include fruit trees, vegetables, and livestock. Watch this space.

In the Bible, obedience is the flip-side of love; It’s the expression of love. In several places, Jesus says, “if you love me you will obey what I command.” 1 John 5:3 says, “Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.”
The night before His crucifixion, Jesus reminded the disciples of some important matters. In John 14:21, He pointed out the connection between love and obedience, saying, “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me.”
In other words, loving the Lord and obeying Him are inseparable.
